State wide Health Week set for April 5 start

Texas Governor signs banking bills changing to bond plan

First Style Show Draws Good Crowd At Junction High
Junction's first style show under Mrs. Vera James of the Model Shop drew a good crowd at the High School Auditorium last Thursday evening. About twenty ladies modeled the latest styles in women apparel while pupils of music and expression teachers offered an entertaining program. Mrs. James praised the success of her first event, and Rev. Downing of Kerrville was announced to speak at the Methodist church Sunday at eleven. O. W. Cardwell visited the Eagle office for stationery printed for him.
Goat Record Assn to Move Headquarters to Texas
Lack Turner secretary of the old National Angora Record Association reported by telephone that a vote on moving the Consolidated Record Association to Texas carried by about ten to one. The executive committee will canvass the vote to choose the state for the headquarters of the Angora goat group. Junction, Texas is urged as the central location.
