London Social Roundup and Local Farm Notes
London residents visit friends and relatives including the Pearl and Reichenau families. A forced landing in a cotton field injured no one. Corn gathering begins at Oscar Pearl’s farm with crews led by Bruce Cooper Hardesty Strader and Clyde Brewer. The 135 acre field yields 35 to 40 bushels per acre amid overall good crop conditions.
