Neuse River water project moves forward in Johnston County
Johnston County Commissioners on June 17 approved hiring an owner’s adviser for 850000 to plan a second water supply from the Neuse River near Richardson Bridge Road. The Lower Neuse Water Supply aims to produce 12 million gallons daily at a quarry site with a 527 million total cost and broad funding options including grants bonds and town partnerships.
