Johnston seeks grant for Neuse River boat ramp at Clayton
Johnston County will pursue a Water Resources Development Grant to fund a boat ramp, fishing pier, and parking lot on the Neuse River at Clayton. The project costs about 283,600 with 160,000 sought. completion hoped by late 2025 or early 2026, with design about 30 percent done.
