Old Landmark Demolished for New Brick Stores
The frame building once housing Chandler and Son and J. Ross Dodd is being taken down this week to clear space for mortern brick structures for R. L. Roberts and Son and L. V W. Nunnelly. The west half was built about 29 years ago by R. L. Roberts who ran a grocery store and a store room was added on the east side five years later with the roof extended to cover both sections.
