Mrs J W Edwards Injured Near Jasper in Horse Accident
Mrs J W Edwards riding two miles south of Jasper visited Mrs W L Turner near Carytown last Thursday. A splinter the size of three inches entered her wrist when the horse bolted against the manger. A second splinter two and a half inches was later removed. She fainted during the bleeding but later improved after treatment by Dr Knott.

He traded 49 acres of the same land to Will Holdeman, receiving the house and 100 feet of the R L Roberts property now occupied by Mrs W Rumble as part payment. All previous fairs eclipsed as Jasper hosts a record crowds with parades of fancy horses mules and cattle.
