Amid these, 74 year old Franklin Follmer of Jasper county died at 4:15 pm Tuesday from a paralysis stroke, with services at Zion church and burial at Mitchell cemetery. survivors listed. Also reported were injuries to Mrs J R Cearnal from a buggy accident, and a bridge project on Possum Creek nearing completion after community funding efforts.

Barton County Farmers Win Patent for Gasoline Filter
Short and son living north of Jasper near Boston exhibited a gasoline filter on the Jasper street this week. They have just received a patent for a small mechanism to use with gasoline tanks to separate water and dirt from the fuel. They plan to demonstrate shortly to show the device’s function.
