Man Takes Own Life After Melancholia Spell
John Clouser, about 60, unmarried son of deceased parents, died after a self inflicted act in Sehmlen store room. He had returned from Oklahoma that day, was seen as quiet and reserved before his death. Coroner ruled no inquest after witnesses testified and telegrams awaited.

Omer Baird Dies After Long Illness
Omer Baird, son of the late Cyrus Baird and his wife, died last Friday morning and was buried Saturday in Walnut Cemetery beside his parents. He was about 66 years old and had lived a life marked by mental and physical illness since birth.

Wm. Greenwood Hurt by Horse Kick
William Greenwood living four miles southeast was kicked in the face by a horse Tuesday evening. The hoof struck under the eyebrow, tearing and swelling. Dr. Sehonler set eight or nine stitches and fear remains of a lasting scar.
