The Lumber yard of Dickason Goodmane in Jasper changes hands with A. Laughead of Pittsburg Kansas taking charge this Monday and moving his family to Jasper. Laughead brings over twenty years in the lumber business and will operate solely in Jasper. The former Dickason Goodmane operators sold at a fair price. their Sheldon yard was sold last week and manager W S Crowl will transfer to another yard in North Kansas, leaving Jasper by mid next month. Nearly fifty Jasper area youths attended a farewell reception at Mr. and Mrs. Roy Harris home three miles east of Jasper to honor Miss Elsie Boucher who leaves for Fowler Kang with her parents the J W Bouchers.
