Summer goods sell quickly as demand rises with warmer weather. Much desirable stock cannot be restocked this season, so shoppers should act now to secure the best value before it sells out.
Public response shows demand for good shoes at right prices. Highlights include Ladies Low Shoes at 1.25 dollars, described as stylish and pretty.
Immense crowd attends the dedication of Mt. Moriah church with services led by Rev. James Potter of Walout AlloolW. Attendees come from Jasper Carthage Alba Breton Carytown and surrounding areas. The new structure seats with Epworth organ and is modeled in modern style with three entrances and white blog racks surrounding the lawn.
Mrs Ella Wright widow of KE Wright, well known farmer southwest of the city, died Monday evening after months of illness. She leaves a husband and five children and many relatives. Funeral Tuesday at the Duoward church with Rev. Watson preaching from 2 Timothy. Born February 20, 1804, she married March 23, 16. She joined the Free Methodist church at sixteen and lived a devout Christian life.
Mrs Mary Noland a widow living northeast of Boston buys the Mourrison Zinn place on Grand Avenue in the city for 10. Zion continues in possession until October when Mrs Noland plans to move with her family to Jasper and occupy the property.
Rev Casper, pastor of the M E church at Lamar, spoke to Epworth Leaguers in Lamar last Friday evening at the ME Church Booth. A large congregation greeted him as he preached on The New Life and urged applying Christian principles to modern life for higher success in this epoch of world history.
A five inning Jasper baseball game featured the First Nips defeating the Midgets 7 to 0 on Tveslsy afternoon starting at five o'clock. Local attendance included Rev and Mrs Ferguson and various Jasper residents. Attachements note community events, real estate purchases, and upcoming district conventions.
Hugh Williams and Haring Vorkgtt collided head on during a warm up for a meet, both knocked senseless for about half an hour. Witnesses and traveling men at the depot aided them with water and bandages before they could walk home. Williams endured a bruised face and eye, while Vorkgtt suffered facial injuries. both were able to walk afterward with assistance.

The ceremony surprised friends and relatives, with the groom’s parents residing on South Main Street and the bride’s mother living three miles southeast of the city. The couple plan to make their home near Crawford southwest of town.

Mrs J W Boucher and kin return from Pierce City assisting berry harvests. Miss Hlare Boucher stays with aunt this summer. Buell Squier arrives from Kearney Nebraska after completing a local project. Etts Boot remains in Jasper while Oryon travels to Aurora. Eckles Furniture advertises daily photography. overalls and jackets shown at Jasper Racket Store.
Nine applicants from Jasper and vicinity took a test for a carrier position on Route No Five with one woman among them Mrs Mite from the north part of town. Ben Appleby seeks to return to duty after previously serving Route No Two and being reassigned. Other examinees include Jasper Owings Al Hreres Oscar Cather Oscar Simmons Win Teetur Ed Lawnon Theo Lawnon.
Jasper school board debates nonresident pupil admission as about twenty five seek to enroll. A Vermont pupil also faces admission issues amid room shortages. Mrs Runyon, called from Neotho by a sister’s illness, reports severe measles case. her sister Barrett has a meningitis-like illness. Fresh country butter sold at 15 cents per pound in Hastings.
