Roll the Table Cloth in Domestic Science Classes
Domestic science instruction now teaches students to roll table cloths rather than fold them to avoid showing wear. Cloths are ironed flat and rolled as they are ironed, starting after a half yard is pressed, with the roll held in front and rotated quickly. If no roll material exists, use thick brown paper or improvised tubes covered with wallpaper to form a roll foundation.
