Mrs H F Pitta left for Kansas City after receiving word that Miss Marie Edwards had died in the city the day before. Edwards, once the child of Mr and Mrs Noel Edwards, moved to Oklahoma, then returned to stay with the Pitts for nearly two years. An almost helpless invalid for a year from muscular rheumatism, her death followed typhoid fever. Noel Edwards died in Kansas City about a year earlier.
