Baptist Church News Sees Members Depart For Medical Care
Mrs. D. C. Fuller, active in church work, has left for Converse La for medical treatment after a short illness. The W M A and the church miss her. Sunday school attendance is rising with a goal of 150 next Sunday. W M U reports a fine meeting and plans to attend the W M U clinic in Hobbs NM next Monday. Brotherhood met Tuesday with Rev W H Norris delivering a talk on Ephesians chapter two. Mrs W H Norris, wife of the pastor, will arrive Jal this week.

At the Sunday meeting, six new members joined the Junior and Intermediate Epworth League. Shirley Reel led a life of Jesus review for the group. Domine Program Organizes Parent Study Club at Baptist Church
On September 6 a group of parents organized the Parent Study club at the Baptist church to meet every three weeks for discussions on current problems facing parents and teachers. Officers elected include Alis L. Wilson president and Mrs W A Carnahan vice president. The club invites all parents to join with dues of twenty five cents every three weeks to fund reading material.
