Jal High School Band and directors will lead the Lovington parade with a marching performance as announced by school officials. The program aims to showcase student musicianship and community spirit during the town event.
A fifty foot wide boulevard is being built for school children to avoid the danger of crossing busy streets. Land for the street is donated by Jal Townsite Company. The street will run west to Main Street from the school entrance, meeting Main just south of the Rex Theatre and will be named School Street for child safety.

F. Jr and Today.
