Carlsbad Announces New Gasoline Absorption Plant
Jal area officials confirm El Paso Natural Gas Company plans a one million dollar gasoline absorption plant just north of Jal. C. C. Cragin, VP and general manager in El Paso, announces the project which will also produce butane and propane by products. Plant capacity reaches 50 000 gallons daily, adding to the current Jal plant output of 30 000 gallons. Only surveying work has begun and construction should take about three months after start.
