Jal Quilting Club Meets for Quilting and Gossip
The Jal Quilting Club gathered with Mrs. Fullerton for three hours of sewing and lively chatter about their own follies. Hobbs Men Killed In Fall From Plane
Mr Andrew Allen the pilot and chief clerk for the New Mexico Electric Service Company and Mr Marshall Franklin an employee of the same firm were killed Sunday when their plane fell after a down current at about 1500 feet. Allen’s services were held Tuesday in Hobbs Cemetery and Franklin was buried Monday in Lubbock Texas.
