Dry Land Scouts Face Flood on Houston Trip
Five Boy Scouts led by Scoutmaster John Eddy returned from Houston with flood stories from East Texas. They named members Bob Bart Pender Billy Floyd Humphries David and Clifford Boyd Weldon Baird. The route home was cut by flooding forcing a 200 mile detour and an extra day travel. They also cruised off Galveston and steered a 40 foot boat during the trip.
