A Jal High School carnival held in the auditorium raised funds for the high school. Students ran booths such as Fish Portal Throwing Venny Pitching Wheel Spinning and Ring Teasing while the community donated and supported the event. Frances Butler won the Carnival Queen contest and Abie Cohn won the AgHst Maniff Jal Contest. Proceeds totals were not yet determined.
Mrs. C. V. Walden hosted a Friday afternoon birthday party for her daughter Dolores tenth birthday. Friends enjoyed games and contests then gathered around gifts as Dolores opened them.
