Elementary Grades Present Operetta In High School Auditorium
An operetta titled The Land of Dreams Come True was staged in the High School auditorium Friday February 21 at 8 PM by third through sixth grades. Key performers included Shirley Joy Ivey Curtis Ray Thompson Sherry per and Mernon Philips with many students in supporting roles. A free will collection for the Junior Red Cross raised 82 dollars between acts two and three. DISCOVERY REPORTED O. B. Brown gang foremer reported skulls found near Jal and awaiting university guidance on disposal.

Mrs. Ollie M Parrish of Jal claims descent from Sir Thomas Wyatt the English poet of Queen Mary era. Her uncle, Wyat of Jordan New Mexico, says the Wyatt lineage includes two male heirs who fled to America to escape execution in 1554 for Wyatt's rebellion.

Revival Lights Off At Church Of God In Oklahoma Evangelist
The Church of God opened a revival on Sunday night March 2 led by evangelist Rev. Harry Probasce of Oklahoma. Pastor Rev. Hilton Vail said daily prayer meetings have been held at 2 o'clock in the church house for the two weeks leading up to the revival.
