A warning urges immediate sane action when a fire alarm sounds. If no car is available, borrow the fastest vehicle to reach the Forest Service office to access large chemical extinguishers. Additional extinguishers are at Jackson Mercantile and Felloney garage. On future alarms, stop, think, and run for the nearest extinguisher.
Sunday morning alarm clocks and watches must be turned back one hour at midnight Saturday. Many neglected their timepieces earlier, causing inconvenience due to time differences with neighbors. this final adjustment ends the confusion.
