A telegram from J W Sammon defense attorney suggested the case against J P Gheivagvars had merit but was settled out of court. Four witnesses from Jackson were notified and traveled by stage to Victor, then sent word the matter was resolved. The party plans to return home that night, with expenses noted.
Locals mention two good teams for sale at W. P. Redmond ranch. Chee Pederson and wife visited on Monday. Mitton Robinson spent the weekend at a Grovant-area ranch. Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Curtin attended the municipal election Tuesday. Beef available for sale in summer. Eynon Hotel Falcon noted. V. Belson traveled from Ek last week. Tanner noted. Tanner and family plan to move later. Fourteen Ulinte rands in Scott Park for summer. Walilsehodt and Frances and Bahra will stay in town with Mrs. Hinton.

Harte Rolison and W L Winegar win seats as the town seeks a director and funds to finish the Flat Creek school building. The meeting covers finance, building repairs, and a motion to allocate money, with adjournment declared after business concludes.
Governor Joseph M. Carey declares May 10 as M others Day urging observance at home and in churches. The proclamation notes a mother's enduring love, requests wearing white carnations, and invites affectionate acts toward mothers or remembrance if they have passed away.

A mass meeting is called for Tuesday afternoon at the Jackson Club House to discuss incorporating Jackson. The committee from the last meeting has prepared a formation to submit to the people. Ladies and men are urged to attend. none should stay away.
