Railroad Conductor Shot at Chaffee
A Black man named Silas Young shot and killed Conductor Wolf at Chaffee after Wolf allegedly told the town marshal the man had committed a bad act. L P Gober sheriff of Scott County recovered a stolen horse and buggy belonging to John Gangel.
