An advertisement extols Ayer s Hair Vigor as the best product for hair care promising to promote growth by removing dandruff cleansing the scalp and nourishing the roots. It claims roots must be present and says the tonic preserves color or restores gray or faded hair.
The North Side Union of the Kimbell Association met at Pleasant View Church with W. J. Kimbell presiding and W. T. Kimbell delivering the sermon. Delegates from Macedonia, Towaliga, County Line, Worthville, Phillippi, Jackson, and Pleasant View were enrolled. committees on preaching time and place, and on topics for discussion were named. sessions adjourned to continue the next day with further enrollment and reports.
