Lost Twin Mines of Sonora Then New Ancient Mine Found
Long report recounts legends of two ancient Sonora mines and a newly found antiquated site near Navozari. Dr Henry Farnum Stoll urged municipal institutes for delicate and tuberculous children, citing that 20 to 40 percent of city schoolchildren may be infected. He reported 79 percent infection from tuberculous homes versus 26 percent from healthy homes, with frail and robust child data. Mrs Frederick H Snyder, a leading woman impresario, described grand opera's success in St Paul and continued work in the field amid male peers. The column also includes quips about married life and a humorous office anecdote, ending with a light exchange about tiaras and a domestic scene.
