The College of DuPage board won permission to condemn 269 acres owned by Martin Braun south of Roosevelt Road in Milton Township to build a junior college campus. Bensenville Police Chief Walter E. Tett reports a 22 percent rise in public contacts in September from the prior year, totaling 3,351 interactions.
