The Thursday Club staged a period drama Belle The Beautiful Typewriter Girl at Town Hall with stark villains and heroic saves. Karl B. Smith of Ardsley Park played Morgan the banker, Everitt W. Town of Greenburgh residents in arrears urged to settle taxes before Wednesday May 2 at 10 oclock to prevent their holdings from being offered at the annual tax sale. The sale, required by the Westchester County Tax Act, will be conducted by Supervisor Duell in the Town Board meeting rooms at the Lyceum Building on North Broadway, Tarrytown.

Mrs Helen Jochen Dies Suddenly at 20
Mrs Helen Jochen, wife of Ward Jochen of Irvington, died suddenly of a heart attack at home on Taxtor Road East Irvington at age 20. Funeral services were held at Bawards Funeral Home Dobbs Ferry and cremation followed at Fornellit Cemetery Ardsley. She leaves four children Ernest John William Sarah Josephine and Charles, three sisters and her husband.
