Reverend Walsh Installed as Immaculate Conception Pastor
The Rev James J Walsh will be installed as pastor of Immaculate Conception Church Sunday June 15 with a 5 00 pm Mass celebrated by Rt Rev Msgr Joseph Tracy Installing Prelate Msgr Tracy of St Bartholomew Yonkers Walsh a New York City native ordained in 1936 at St Patrick Cathedral by Cardinal Hayes served at Blessed Sacrament New Rochelle and St Matthew Hastings before joining St Bartholomew Yonkers and Immaculate Conception Bangall Dutchess County The ceremony will be followed by a buffet reception at the school auditorium attending are Irvington associate pastor Rev Anthony Maltese and Rev Matthew Robbins and local leaders.
