Irvington PTA Scholarship Fund Celebrates 20 Years
Editorial recalls 70 Irvington High graduates who received over $30,000 in local scholarships since 1947. Funds come from Irvington residents, not federal sources, and yearly gifts sustain the program. The goal now is a thousand local families supporting the scholarship fund without solicitation, to aid hard-working students who earned top scholastic records.
