Edward V McGinley longtime Irvington resident and former New York City Post Office official dies after prolonged illness. Sunnyside Federal Savings and Loan Association of Irvington says its semi annual directors meeting approved raising dividend interest for the six month period ending December 31 to 3 percent per year. The Board of Trustees reduced several assessments on North Road Irvington Gate, Tvington Gardens, and South Broadway estates during Monday’s meeting. Reductions ranged from 2000 to 25000 dollars, including a lowering of the Tvington Gardens complex from 0000 to 25000 and the Irington Estates site from 400 to 210000, with exemptions noted for veterans and fire department members.
Foot of Snow Blankets Village reports a lighter accumulation than neighboring cities as 12 to 13 inches fall in the village. Street Commissioner Walter C.
