Bank-note Forger Saga At Rose Cottage

In Parkhampton Emma Young and her niece Julia run Rose Cottage where bank-note forgeries are suspected. Crayton, enamored with Julia, leads three conspirators through a tunnel to rob the house but is thwarted by Emma and her guests who reveal they host a séance circle. Police arrest the criminals as Crayton faces exposure and proposes secrecy in exchange for Julia’s hand.
