Predicament and Rheumatism Spark a Family Plan
In a tense scene at the Tupper house, Uncle Robert ridicules Annes lavender dress and her chances at a city house party. Hilda blasts the gift and Anne endures, while Uncle Robert endures rheumatic woes and chaos. In a twist, Uncle Robert spills water on the lavender gown and vows to replace it with another dress on a trip to the city, easing Anne’s fear of Aunt Margarets reaction.
