SUI journalism school faces war time strains and reserves
Prof. Leslie Moeller outlines potential impacts of another war on the School of Journalism and Communication at SUI. He notes active duty posts for Harry Ainsworth and James L. Julian, plus two more faculty in naval reserve, including Moeller as lieutenant commander, and Paul Lyness. He cites expansion since WWII but warns construction delays, faculty reductions, and possible equipment shortages. Daily Iowan operations might survive with back shop readiness.
