Akron public school operetta “Fairies are Really Truly” delighted attendees, with high school “Bitter Sweet Anne” set for Dec 15 at the Akron opera house under Miss Dorothy Lee. David Islund of Chicago visited relatives, J. R. McLain of Sioux City was in town on business, and Helge Johnson departed for Ljodhult Sweden to visit family before Christmas. Axel Johnson visited Hawarden for business. Akron’s commercial club held its annual meeting Nov 25 at the American Legion hall with bridge and pitch socializing afterward. Rev. C. W.
