In a separate Sunday morning crash southwest of town Jack and Hope Smith collided with a car carrying Mrs George Lammers and her son Alfred. Mrs Lammers injured with a torn rib and Hope Smith with a cut forehead. both cars damaged but others unharmed. accident deemed unavoidable.
