St Nicholas Parade Leads LeMars School Districts Birthday Event
Children attending will receive a toy and candy. each school or room will get a beautiful picture for their classroom. The big parade led by St Nicholas and the LeMars school band departs from the high school at 2 30 p m reaching the business district. Escola groups meet at 2 00 p m at the high school to register for pictures and march with their district banner. Rural and consolidated pupils receive personal invitations. St Nicholas will greet children and accept Christmas letters. Brothers and sisters not yet in school may join.
