Ollie Cox Schriver Dies at 20 in Portland

Ollie Cox Schriver, wife of Wayne L. Schriver, died March 1 1920 in Portland at age 20 years seven days. Daughter of O J and Mrs Cox of Lexington Oregon she spent most of her life in the region. She married Wayne L Schriver Sept 27 1922 and left behind husband and daughter Carol along with her parents and several siblings.

Death of Iona Ritchie Seeks Pendleton Burial

Relatives mourn the sudden death of Iona Ritchie born March 28 1904 near lone Oregon. The body was moved to lone for funeral services at the Congregational church led by Rev W W Head. Interment followed at Odd Fellows cemetery. she left three sisters and three brothers.

Johnie Eubanks returns from Heppner after appendicitis treatment. Mrs S E Moore improves after Portland medical care. Mike Healy home on Rhea Creek hosts a pleasant party for 24 with sandwiches cake coffee. Mrs Jennie Elly of American Auxiliary spoke on aims and work at Sperry’s with Harriet Gemel of Heppner.

Word reached here of the marriage of Cecil Ahalt to Blossom Clark in Bellingham Washington. Mr Ahalt is the son of W E Ahalt of this city. He is a Pentecostal evangelist and well known locally. His wife is a minister of the Pentecostal Faith and has led services at Bellingham.
