Bear Lodge Ed Wolfolk and Barrett head for Belle Fourche

Ed Wolfolk and E C Barrett started to Belle Fourche with a large herd of cattle. An early snow storm forced shipment. John O'Brien and wife returned from visiting relatives along the Belle Fourche river. Wilder Smith on Little Missouri improves after a paralytic stroke. Bert Derrickson and family move to Belle Fourche to stay. Miss Maud Sims departs and is missed. Edna Kendall visits sister Mrs Clay Massie near Mona. Snow depth in locality ranges twelve to fourteen inches.

Honor to Whom Honor is Due at Hulett Banquet

The Red Cross Chapter of Hulett paid all expenses for a recent ex service men and public banquet. Donations funded proceeds from extra plates totaling 54.75 to be used for playground apparatus at Hulett school. The Junior Red Cross campaigns for health, and students perform roles in class drama while the Educational Guild plans a Saturday meeting and Thanksgiving plays.

Dance and community notes from a small town
