Death notices for Mrs J P Bush and Mrs Deasie Martin

Funeral services for Mire. J. P. Bush were held at the ranch home on Sunday November 23 officiated by Rev. J. M. Coffey. Interment followed in Hulett cemetery with many friends in attendance. Also announced is the death of Mrs. Deasie Martin wife of Malcolm Martin after a hospital stay, survived by five children and her husband.

Ewing News Briefs Include Amputation and Visits

Spence McLain, hospitalized for blood poisoning, has had a limb amputated and is expected home soon after recovery. C. P. Kester made a pleasant call on Mrs. Redding last Wednesday. Friends gathered at the G. H. Davidson home Friday for an evening. Ray Frisbee and Carl Rathbun visited Moorcroft earlier this week. Edmonia and Mayme Redding hosted Anna and Marjorie Frisbee Friday afternoon. Frank Proctor school reportedly starts next Monday. Ed Pollock and wife visited locally. Ed plans to move sheep to Moorcroft for winter. Mrs. Garnet Hoback traveled through Ewing to Grandma Mewhirter. C. P. Kester returned from Spearfish, SD, where he visited H. L. Guilliams. E. A. Watson and Walter Collins helped George Redding with sheep last Wednesday. Walter Colling takes sheep to Buffalo Gap, SD, for wintering. A. Watson moved to the home ranch. M. F. Harrington returned from Lusk where he worked in oil fields. Ivan Bucher left for Garritson, SD to locate for now. Clyde Roberts has a coyote pelt he values at twenty dollars.

Walter Music Brings Rockeypoint Mail From New Haven

Walter Music delivered the Rockeypoint mail from New Haven on Tuesday using a saddle horse. C. L. Clark traveled from New Haven earlier in the week with a pair of horses that had been ranging nearby.

Department of the Interior notice states Robert N. McCuen of Colorado Wyoming filed May 21 1919 sworn statement and timber land application No 022456 for Lot 4 section 1 township 56 north range 64 west 6th meridian under Timber and Stone Law. Timber estimated 40000 board feet at 3.00 per M and land valued 76.70. Final proof to be offered December 6 1919 before United States Commissioner Paul W. Yeoman at Hulett Wyoming. Public may protest before patent issue by filing corroborated affidavit.
