Mrs Hoy was thrown from a vehicle with Dan Hoy and a baby last Sunday. The baby remained unharmed while Mrs Hoy suffered a lower leg fracture. Mrs Hoy is at her parents home on Bear Lodge. Dan Hoy is away sheep shearing.
Last Sunday on Forest diamond the Hulett team lost to Forest by a wide score as fans packed the fields. Forest celebrated its first win over Hulett with enthusiastic crowds cheering late in the game.
H A Gunderson and H E Turneaure visited Moorcroft and Gillette on business last week. The note asks for 1000 visitors in Flulett on July 4 to have a big time, with a lighthearted exchange about the event.

The State Board of Immigration offers 200 for the best county fair agricultural exhibit, 100 for best agricultural exhibit at the State Fair 1911, and 200 for best fruit exhibit at the State Fair 1911. Exhibits become property of the Board. judges from the State Fair decide awards. Roy W. Schenck invites inquiries from counties.
The Board of Educational Examiners recommends books for exams in Theory and Practice and Reading. Titles include Special methods in Primary Reading by McMillian, Reading How to Teach It by Arnold, Classroom Management by Bugle y, The Teacher and the School by Colegrove. There will be entertainment in Hulett on the 4th.
The 1910 statute requires county boards to direct road supervisors to erect durable signs at road junctions with posts or boards and labeled towns creeks and settlements. The Globe argues commissioners should enforce it and urges bonding for permanent road improvements to fund a county road program.
