New Literary Society Formed at Bay Schoolhouse

A literary society organized last Friday at the Bay schoolhouse drew a large crowd for its initial meeting. Officers elected include Wim Boyd president Ralph Ray vice president Milicent Gray secretary Henry Gray editor and Grat Ray critic. A committee was named to draft a constitution and bylaws. The club aims to enrich neighborhood life and uplift local endeavors.

New Trial Sought in Flanders Murder Case

Sheridan Post reports defense motion for a new trial in the Willard Flanders murder of his wife and Sam Aultz. Recording Brands Causes Deliberation in Crook County

Stockmen in Crook county discuss renewing cattle brands with guidance from the State Board of Live Stock Commissioners. A 1915 renewal window is incorrect. applications may be submitted any time during 1915, with a drawing of the brand and location, applicant name and address, and a $1.40 per brand fee. Applications should be sent to the Cheyenne board with checks payable to the State Board of Live Stock Commissioners.

A large gathering of Miss Mabel Silverstraweved friends held a surprise birthday party Friday night at her home on the young Tady. The party, planned by Thur young people from Ohio, filled the house with merriment and music until early morning.

W F Leslie and Carl Massie came from Sundance for lodge and business. Mrs Bud Morris of Alva travels to Missouri to stay with a ill sister. Rev Brown to preach at Watson school January 22 at 3 30 pm. Hulett State Bank shows a favorable condition report amid steady business. Commissioners Woodcock Zimmerschied and Surveyor Blatt assessed local roads. Ripley bridge approach and Schenck road changes debated. Gundersons bridge also needs repairs.
