Reports say George H. Giddings left Arpan for Virginia after a lengthy stay with his son Clyde. A trunk and several bags bearing his name were found at Deadwood depot and authorities fear foul play as the old man has not been heard from since November 4. Death of Baby Arthur Wayne Fowlkes
Arthur Wayne Fowlkes aged 2 months and 28 days died at home in Ellendale. The infant blessed the earth but a few days in life and leaves memories that may guide the family. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. J. M. Brown and burial followed at Storm Cemetery.
