Swell burglar strikes wealthy New York district

A burglary reported in New York during June woke Mrs Mary McAllister, housekeeper for K E Clark of 2 West Party Street. A man was seen on the roof carrying a bundle near the window before escaping. A tablecloth with 200 pieces of silverware was found on the roof. Police searched nearby mansions of Perry Belmont and Ogden Goelet but made no arrest.
