John L. Poore, 60, retired grocer of Augusta Indiana, living with sister in law Mrs Mary da Poore at 0 Fayette St, was found dead in a house on Fayette and Pratt streets. A scarlet bullet wound and a revolver nearby indicate self inflicted death after failing health. Poore had come to town a year ago for paralysis treatment, and was reported missing after leaving Saturday. His body was taken to the city morgue then to his brother Marion Poore’s home. Poore never married.
