There was a slaughter of slot machines at the police station Wednesday by order of Supt Taffe in line with state law. The three machines belonged to Harry Noland, Horace Goodyear and Charles Smelter. Ora Scates was also destroyed. The raid yielded fines. machines had held several dollars in nickels. The case against John Matz continues.
