Robert Kendrick, boarding at 18 Marion Avenue, was assaulted and robbed by two men while returning from Bridgeport on Thursday night. He was knocked from his buggy, beaten, and left unconscious near Mickleyville before crawling home two hours later. He recovered enough to summon help. no suspects or motive are known.
