Fire destroyed an old two story house at First and Ists in San Diego late Friday night killing Nellie Bailey and possibly two others. A 17 year old girl Nora MacDonald may also have perished. An officer and a man attempting to rescue Bailey barely escaped as a sheet of flame blocked the rear door. Remains of Nellie Bailey and an unknown man were recovered early Saturday. Property loss is about 1000 dollars.
