Alleged Throat Slashing Attempt Ends in Shooting at Ernest
A man named Wood of Ernest was shot in the face following a quarrel with Dominic Razzino. Dominic allegedly drew a revolver and Wood fired, with the bullet lodging under the skin of Wood’s right jaw. Canal Boatmen Reunion At Johnstown Draws Crowd
The twenty ninth annual reunion of the old Pennsylvania Canal Boatmen's Association met in Johnstown on Thursday with over ten percent of members present. Mayors welcomed attendees, a dinner at the Capital Hotel followed, and an afternoon moving picture show was enjoyed. Officers were announced and a member sought by a sister missing her brother for fifty years. An auto trip yielded misfortune as a car broke down near Blairsville and money was lost from a pocketbook. Real estate transfers reported and a pre social planned for Diamondville to benefit their school.
