RECENT DEATHS. Robert J. Taylor died Friday morning at his Water street home after months of illness from paralysis. A native of Connellsville born November 26 1821 he was 75 years 11 months and 3 days old. He trained as a saddler and later lived in Salisburg and Saltsburg before moving here in 1882. Survived by wife one daughter and two sons, with funeral Monday at the Presbyterian church and burial in Greenwood cemetery.

Louie M. Anderson of Blairsville age about 17 died Thursday morning from diphtheria. Funeral rites were held Friday and the remains interred at Blairsville cemetery. Lost his left leg amputation saved a boy's life
