Bolivar man ends life by hanging in Attle home
Forrester Bobbitt, 47, of Bolivar, despondent over ill health, killed himself by hanging in the attic of his Bolivar home Thursday evening. His wife, who was not alarmed at the threat, found his body later. He formerly lived in West Wheatfield township and is survived by his wife, four children, his mother, and several siblings.

Women Save Clyde From Destruction By Forest Fire
A forest fire near Clyde in Indiana County threatened the village Saturday night. Women and girls fought the flames to exhaustion until aid arrived, and by midnight the fire was checked. An unidentified hunter started the blaze by a campfire in dry woods and fled when it spread. No buildings burned.
