Bad Weather Cancels Windsor Pittsburg Game
The Windsor baseball team of Pittsburg were scheduled to play the Normal club yesterday but wet weather led to the game being called. Pittsburg High School was defeated 5 to 3 at Elders Ridge on Friday and 10 to 0 at Saltsburg on Saturday. Kiski’s infield. McKallip held visitors to one hit. Windsor then planned to face Kiski at Saltsburg today and Elders Ridge tomorrow. The California Normal club plays here Friday and Indiana Normal meets St Vincent next Monday. The inter-class track meet is set for Normal Park Saturday afternoon with no admission. Orin Williams of Normal is briefly ill. Cameron of Westminster will assist. Williams will join Johnstown after the season. Edmundson signed with Homestead.

Brakemen Die After Coal Train Accident at Cresson
Sabbath afternoon a brakeman from Glen Campbell was fatally injured when thrown from his train as it brak ing on a coal train at Cresson. Several cars passed over him, his left foot was severed and his thigh crushed. He died the same day at Altoona hospital. Interment in Glen Campbell on Tuesday. Also, jeweler R. W. Separately Mr J B Stumpf engineer on the Pennsylvania railroad visited Sharpsburg to see his nephew Frank Stumpf recovering from injuries after pursuing burglars. a bullet struck Stumpf in the back and lodged in the thigh but he is recovering and once lived at Tanoma.
